Group Offerings

Why is group offerings beneficial?

Group Offerings is the treatment of multiple individuals in a group setting by a clinician. Research has shown it to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, meeting numerous needs, and can be utilized for all ages. Individuals that join a therapy group will participate in treatment with other similar aged individuals that share the same concerns, experiences, and needs.

People who participate in group offerings counseling develop a sense of belonging and are able to see that they are not alone in what they are experiencing. It is a safe space where one can develop a support system while socializing and communicating with other group members.

Summer Groups

Our groups include 30 minutes to 1 hour sessions that meet from July to August in Westbury and Islandia.

Groups are run by qualified clinicians who are trained for the specific needs of the group, and are motivated to foster a safe, accepting, judgment free environment. Each group will have a minimum of 4 individuals and maximum of 10. Handwriting Helpers can run from 1-5 individuals.

Worry Warriors

Worry Warriors is designed to help kids learn healthy ways to understand, manage, and cope with feelings of worry and fear. In a safe and supportive environment, children will connect with peers their age, practice new coping skills, and build confidence through fun, engaging activities. This group is ideal for children who may feel overwhelmed by worries at school, home, or in social situations. By participating, children will gain tools they can use every day and feel reassured that they are not alone.

Ages: Elementary, Middle, and High School

Children of Divorce and Marital Discord

Parent separation can be a confusing and challenging time for children. Every child’s experience is unique, but it doesn’t have to feel lonely or uncertain. This group will help kids connect with others their age who are also going through separation or divorce in their families. Through fun activities and open conversations, we provide tools to help kids build resilience, understand what’s happening in a way they can relate to, and feel heard and supported.

For Ages: Elementary, Middle or High School

Handwriting Helper

30 Minute Session

Kidz Educational is here to help students of any age and ability level! We are now is offering a privately paid Handwriting Helper course for kids who need a little extra support to improve their handwriting legibility. Whether your child needs foundational writing support or is ready to master cursive, our Handwriting Helper course is designed to meet your child’s needs! Handwriting Helpers can run from 1-5 individuals.

For Ages: Elementary, Middle or High School
Westbury Office or Public Setting

Flexible Scheduling Options
Individual Classes: $300 for six weeks
Group Classes: $200 for six weeks

We believe that everyone should have access to affordable therapy, and that's why we have worked hard to keep our costs low.

We encourage you to ensure that your child attends all sessions to receive the maximum therapeutic benefit. There are no refunds or makeups for missed sessions.

Groups are based on enrollment. After registering, you will receive an official update on the status of the group one week prior to starting. In the event that the group you selected does not meet the minimum enrollment number, your deposit will be refunded, or you can opt to apply it towards another group.
